To Wheat & Tare
The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good
seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? He said unto them, An enemy hath
done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers,
Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat
into my barn.
You can find the above in Matthew 13, read this next one, pay attention to who Christ is praying for.
John 17.
Now that you've made it this far, know that the LORD says of Himself,
"I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil:
I the LORD do all these things." Isaiah 45:7
Various peoples believe the devil is creating all the evil. If that be true, the above scripture
would mean that the devil is the one speaking. However, I know who's truly in charge, The Most High.
Why then, would He create evil?
Proverbs 16:4
"The Lord hath made all things for Himself: yea, even the wicked
for the day of evil."
As cruel as that sounds, it's best to remember first the type of LORD we're dealing with. Of any of
us, He has no favorites and loves everyone perfectly. If we are the Wheat & Tare, this scripture applies to us, for every plant needs the sunshine and rains. Matthew 5:38-48
As well, scriptures also tells us,
"The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count
slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any
should perish, but that All should come to repentance." 2 Peter 3:9
He also gave us a defense against evil.
"Whoso keepeth the commandment shall feel no evil thing: and a wise
man's heart discerneth both time and judgment." Ecclesiastes 8:5
If you've paid any attention to John 17 you'll see that Christ prays asking God to keep His people from the evil, also.
Basically, if you don't do things the Maker's way, but do according to your wicked ways, whatever they maybe. "Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate."
It's just that simple...
We've been living in 2 Timothy 3:1-5 for quite some time now, and for some reason I believe this place is heading for Lamentations 3. Yet... even though this message is being read by any an all, only those who belong to Christ will hear Him. John 5:24.
Christ says to His Wheat. "Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God." I think it's about that time for us to pick up our cross and fallow Him. With or without you, I'm all in.
